As some of you are aware, I found a random horror movie at Blockbuster one day that seemed like it wound be a fun rental. The English title was Carved: The Slit-Mouthed Woman. The title in Japanese, as I learned later, was Kuchisake-onna. It was only the other day when double-checking the name of the actress who played Sonozaki Wakana in Kamen Rider W that I realized there was a sequel!

... though technically the second movie is the prequel. ANYWAY.

and now I spoil everything )

So begins the tale of the kuchisake-onna, who asked the same question of her every victim before brutally murdering them with her scissors, known for her face mask and long coat.

ALL IN ALL, I liked this movie! I liked the first one too, of course, but I liked seeing how this prequel rolled out. I got super bored of seeing that mask all the time, and I had hoped to see more of the scarring all the time, but eh. I LIKED IT, too bad! It will stay on my computer for as long as I desire ♥

Man, people I know from other movies and series just keep reappearing when I try to download new things, what is with that! Now I knew that Kagami Saki (who was Maya in Kiva, durp durp) was in this movie, which is ... why I had been wanting to see it. I knew she would be there! ... I merely did not realize her role. Or her costars.

eight minutes into the film we meet Kamen Rider Het the second )

edit: This movie now involves everyone conspiring to turn the near moeblob into a hooker and Kagami Saki buying a lesbian hooker for herself. I don't even.

So this special is terrible and bad but also corny and I love it. Two girls disappeared twelve years ago and their "spirits" have been writing to a girl in the present about the dangers of GLOBAL WARMING and being eco and such. Well the girl they were exchanging with accidentally winds up in the school on a day off alongside two girls she's never met before, and all three are viciously attacked when the Earth's DARK SPIRIT possesses all the teachers (except the one punishing them for coming to school, he kung fu fights them like an action hero).

... and then they each get the same text message.

it's like bikini town )

... basically I watched this just to say I had. That and the really short skirts.

"We have to exceed 80km/h for the boob touch sensation!!"

I am not going to lie, anything with boobs in the title has my attention immediately. So something named Boobie Volleyball, well, I can't say no! The plot is pretty simple: A new teacher at a junior high school is made to advise the boys' volleyball team, only the boys... don't play! They are tiny pervs who prefer peeking at the girls in the showers, so they cut a deal. If the boys can win a game in the upcoming tournament, teacher will flash her lovelies.

Houston, we've struck gold.

Someone apparently told the actress playing the smokin' teacher (Ayase Haruka, who does indeed have a fine rack) to always cross her arms under her boobs when talking to the boys to look even more impressive. ALAS, it is the story of friendship and working hard to achieve your goals and not people getting flashed every five minutes but hey. I can deal. There are still important life lessons and lulz involved.

And as always, not enough cleavage. :'(
