✯ Kamen Rider Decade 18, 19
This icon is so ridiculously appropriate right now WHY DO YOU KEEP TOUCHING ONE ANOTHER, HANADAN JDRAMA AND KAMEN RIDER. I get that -- you know, actors have to start on kids' shows okay, that happens!! But when Domyojiroth's manbitch Nishida appears as a wild Hibiki I just kind of lol myself into a cardiac. Because imagine what she would have done with a pet Kamen Rider, just. Just think about that.
Okay well I don't ... actually ... know Hibiki at all, but hurray for returning actors! Zanki and Ibuki playing Zanki and Ibuki, I LIKE IT. Not that I recognized Ibuki for his new hairdo, but I know that voice man. I'd know it anywhere. Even on the MOON.
Don't really know what to make of it except that Diend's summoning of Momotaros was badassingly epic. Nothing brings joy to my heart like Momo going bonkers with his sword, and an oni war is just calling to him.
So really the only thing that sticks out in the second episode is Kaito and Tsukasa bitching at each other like Catholic school girls. "Diend, you're stealing all my lines oh my god *Z SNAPS*" "Well Decade before YOU came along I was the passing through Rider *DOUBLE Z SNAPS*"
And then there was a giant CRAB BATTLE. So I forgot entirely about how bored I was in these episodes because ONORE DECADE, THIS CRAB WILL DEFEAT YOU FOR ME OLIOLIOLIO. So the whole crew performs a rock concert on a giant crab to destroy it. Ibuki looks ridiculous on the trombone but who doesn't, and it's kind of the best thing ever. This is the only Decade world that has honestly made me feel the bodily need to watch its sauce.
