SO I AM BASICALLY SUPER LATE ON WATCHING THIS but it exploded it Compocalypse and I felt like doing it now, shut up. Anyway, the greatest reveal I have seen in a drama in a long time is here.

Backstory: Kazama Masamune was super in love with his ~older~ girlfriend, Tsukamoto Youko. But she broke up with him suddenly and left for New York, leaving him sad and alone. That was six years ago. He is a pushover and a durp, but sweet. He got a call at work out of the blue -- his manager took the call -- and he rushed out on his break to go to the Tsukamoto residence.

When he got there, he peeked into the door and saw ... Youko's memorial photo. She'd died. Heartbroken, he wandered off to the tree where they used to sit and dream. He found a little girl up in the tree, trying to get her string telephone. Well he went up and got it for her, fell out of the tree, and she gave him a bandaid and they played with the phone a little bit. She said her name was Koharu-chan and that her mama used to say there was a "huge treasure tree" five train stops away, so she wanted to go there and see if she could reach Mama there on her phone.

He never introduces himself.

Well Masamune has to leave for work. Before he can, Koharu finds a ladybug on his arm! She had seen one earlier that day, and when it flew off, she'd wished it a safe trip. When it flew away from him, Masamune did the same.

( SUDDENLY. )

DONNNNNNNN. and ;klsjfghfd she looks so proud of herself wow this little kid is adorable I am not usually overtaken by child actors, but this one is cute. 8( Though I guess that is just natural of any five-year old. ANYWAY. I. I'mma go finish this episode now.

Masamune is clinically retarded. oh god l;adjgsj. He ... he is asked by Youko's mom to watch Koharu for a day, because lol dad lol and also she has to fill out stuff about her daughter's death and a lot of bad shit. So he ... takes her to a park and shows her flowers and just kind of stands around as she looks at them, thinking about how much she looks like her mom.

So a teacher there for other kids comes and says "Ha ha hey dude, is this your daughter?" and Masamune freaks and goes "NO, NO SHE IS NOT I was just thinking oh how cute she is!" and he says this a few times, "MAN THAT KID IS CUTE" and he eventually realizes what he is saying, takes the kid and says "k we leaving" AND A MOB CHASES HIM DOWN
